7 Tips for Preventing And Hiding Gray Hair Without Permanent Hair Dye

25 Dec 2016 Posted by trubridal in Wedding Hair

About 2 and a half years ago, when my daughter was knee-deep in the 4-month sleep regression and I was holding onto my sanity for dear life, I found my first gray hair.

I remember feeling a mixture of pride that I’d lasted more than 35 years without having to dye my strawberry-blonde locks, and debilitating fear that I would wake up the following morning with a full head of gray hair.

Fortunately, the hair gods have been good to me, and, at 37-years-old, I’m still rocking my natural hair color. But when the gal at the liquor store stared at me a little longer than normal the other day before saying, “HA! For a minute there, I was going to ask for your ID!”, I decided it’s finally time to do something about these silver streaks of mine.

The only problem is, I’m terrified I’ll never be able to replicate the color of my hair once I start dyeing it, so I’ve been spending a lot of time chatting to my awesome hairdresser and scouring the internet, and I’ve learned some great tips for preventing and hiding gray hair without permanent hair dye.

Whether you're just starting to go grey, or have been plucking silver strands from your head for years, this is a fabulous collection of DIY remedies to help you hide grey hair without permanent hair color. We've included fabulous hair products and hair tips to help you get to the root of the problem so you can prevent grey hair from taking up residence on your head in the first place.

And now I’m sharing them with you, along with a couple of great affiliate links to hook you up with some of the best products that won’t damage your hair!

1. GET OUT THE TWEEZERS

Has anyone ever warned you that, for every gray hair you pluck out of your head, 3 gray hairs will grow back? Well, they’re completely incorrect, my friends. A hair follicle cannot produce more than one strand of hair. So if you’re lucky enough to notice only a few gray strands here and there, it’s not the end of the world to just pluck them out. But be careful. Plucking can damage hair follicles, and personal experience has shown that the hair that grows back in place often sticks out at weird angles, which draws even MORE attention to the gray, you know?

2. CHANGE YOUR DIET

Did you know that foods rick in copper, folate, and B-12 can help reduce your chances of going gray? Neither did I! And after reading how poor nutrition can make your hair turn grey over on SFGate, I’m stocking up on the leafy greens, beans, shellfish, poultry, tomatoes, grapes, and citrus fruits!

3. IMPROVE YOUR LIFESTYLE

It was no surprise to me to hear that cigarettes can cause an increase in gray hair, but did you know coffee, booze (damn!), increased stress, and lack of exercise can also contribute to the problem? It’s true. And after reading how you can’t stop gray hair but you can slow it down over on YouQueen, I’m definitely thinking twice about that second glass of wine every night.

4. THINK: POWDERS AND COLORING STICKS

Whether you’re in-between hair appointments and need to cover up your roots, or have a few silver strands you want to hide, hair powders and coloring sticks offer a great quick-fix to help you cover the gray.

5. GET HIGHLIGHTS

If you only have a few strands of gray and aren’t ready to dye ALL of your hair, my hairdresser recommends a few blond highlights to the crown, part, and sides of your head. I really like this option as a few blond strands here and there sound much more natural and easy to maintain, especially with summer only a few months away.

Winter will eventually end, right?

6. CONSIDER SEMI-PERMANENT HAIR DYE

If highlights won’t do the trick, but you’re not ready to take the plunge and completely dye your hair, my hairdresser suggests trying a semi-permanent dye, which coats the outside of the hair shaft and washes out after about 6 weeks. I think this is a fabulous idea as it gives you a chance to experiment with different colors with the reassurance that it will wash out if you don’t like it. The only draw back is that semi-permanent dyes won’t work on an ENTIRE head of gray hair.

Which brings me to…

7. WEAR YOUR GRAY WITH PRIDE

There’s something really liberating about aging gracefully, so if you’re not bothered by the gray, put down the tweezers, forget about eating healthy, throw away the hair products, and embrace your new look!

If you found these tips for hiding gray hair without permanent hair dye helpful, please share them on Pinterest!

Everyday Look Hairstyles For Girls Would Entail The Following:

Have a look for different hair: We as women and girls know that hair has different ways of behaving on different days. Freshly washed hair does look softer and fluffier but it does not obey the dictates of our brush and comb. While hair that has not been washed on the same day but the day before, has a tendency to still look nice but behaves better for ponytails or other half loose hairstyles. Hair that has not been washed for the past couple of days is perfect for knotting, buns, and plaits. These are the factors that you need to keep in mind while deciding on which cheerful everyday look hairstyle you are going for to ensure that it works well.

Line up the accessories: For everyday look hairstyles to work and look cheerful, you need to be quick about deciding what hairstyle to do. Too much thought will take away the everyday look and make it look too elaborate. To ensure that you get the everyday look going for your hairstyles, ensure that you know what hair accessories you have and line them up so that they can inspire you to create a simple hairstyle on the go.

Be flexible and creative: The thing about hairstyles for women and girls with hair of any length, is that there is plenty of choice to pick from. While having a lot of choice is good, it also creates a lot of confusion. This often leads to women having a fixed set of hairstyles for different days. While this makes sense it also tends to curb your creativity and spontaneity. That is why while planning for different everyday looks with your hairstyles to look cheerful, you also need to have room for flexibility and creativity.

The only thing that you have to keep in mind for your everyday look is not to let yourself get stuck in a rut. This is more likely to happen than you can guess as we often hate to leave our comfort zone as we know that the hairstyle is tried and tested. Do keep looking out for changes in the way your face looks and your mood dictates to create cheerful everyday look hairstyles for you to try.

7 Tips on How to Choose the Right Hairstyle for You

20 Oct 2016 Posted by trubridal in Wedding Hair

If you’re looking for something to change up your normal look, a new haircut can do the trick. There are countless beautiful, modern haircuts to choose from, which can make picking a haircut an intimidating task. However, a haircut you see on a model in a magazine or even on your next-door neighbor that looks adorable on them might not look the same on you.

lob hair style

via – the lob hair style

Not every haircut flatters everyone, and it’s important to consider which haircut will complement you. If you’re not sure how to do this, read on to learn everything you need to know aboutchoosing the right haircut for you.

1. Consider Your Face Shape

7 Tips for Choosing the Right Haircut For You

via

Your face shape is arguably the most important characteristic that can make or break how a haircut looks on you.

If you have an oval face, you can rock almost any haircut but should choose one that includes volume for best results. If you have a round face, stay away from haircuts that are extremely short, as these can make your face appear chubby and accentuate its roundness. If you have a square face, add some layers into your cut to prevent your face from looking unattractively boxy. If you have a face with a large forehead, try a haircut with bangs to add balance and harmony to your face and prevent your forehead from stealing the show.

2. Keep Your Hair In Mind

7 Tips for Choosing the Right Haircut For You

via

Just as not every haircut works for every face shape, the same rule applies for hair textures and thickness. If you have thick, wavy hair, a pixie cut on you isn’t going to look the same as it does on a magazine model with silky, fine tresses no matter how much you attack it with a flat iron.

Your hair is unique and should be celebrated and enhanced by your haircut. Talk to your stylist about how best to complement your hair with a haircut. Also, your hair doesn’t have to  be exactly the same as someone else with the same haircut to look good. It’s just important to keep in mind that cutting your hair doesn’t change its natural texture and thickness.

3. How Much Effort Do You Want to Put In?

7 Tips for Choosing the Right Haircut For You

instagram

This question is an extremely important one to ask yourself before you take the plunge and go for a new haircut, especially one that is drastically different from the one you have.

If you want a long pixie cut with angled bangs, ask yourself if you’re really willing to put in fifteen minutes of work with a flat iron before your early morning shift. If you’re considering a chin-length bob, ask yourself if you’re going to be able to survive without the option of a ponytail on your daily runs. A certain haircut might look cute, but it’s important to consider whether you’ll really be willing to deal with the styling and maintenance it entails before it’s too late to change your mind.

4. Progress Gradually

7 Tips for Choosing the Right Haircut For You

via

If you want to try a super-short haircut but you’re intimidated by everything it entails, there’s no reason to shear off all your hair at once.

Progress gradually and try a cut that’s a bit shorter every time you visit your hairdresser. This gradual progression can help you ease yourself into shorter hair as well as see how many different haircuts look on you so you can determine which one you like best.

5. Think About Your Favorite Features

7 Tips for Choosing the Right Haircut For You

Certain haircuts can highlight, accentuate, and enhance your favorite facial features to make them stand out more and help you show them off to the world.

For example, to make your eyes stand out, consider a haircut that includes bangs that skim the tops of your eyebrows to draw more attention to your eyes.

6. …And Your Least Favorite Features

7 Tips for Choosing the Right Haircut For You

Everyone has facial features that they don’t like about themselves. The right haircut for you can mask the appearance of these features.

For example, you can opt for a longer cut with more volume if you don’t like the look of your ears. You can also try a cut with intense layers to cover up the shape of your neck if you’re unhappy with it. While you should never try to hide behind your hair, a great haircut for you can help downplay and distract from features you don’t love.

7. Experiment With Your Hair

7 Tips for Choosing the Right Haircut For You

Before you get your hair cut, spend some time with your present haircut and experiment with it.

Get to know how your part naturally falls and experiment with different ways to style your hair. If you’re considering a shorter cut, you can also fold up your hair and pin and clip it to see how a short haircut would look with your face shape and hair texture. Experimenting with your hair to get to know it better can help you choose a haircut that works well for you.

There’s a lot of different things to consider when it comes to choosing a hairstyle that’s right for you. However, using the tips in this post to do some serious thinking about choosing the right haircut for you before you get a new cut can help increase your satisfaction with your haircut in the long run.

40 Perfectly Imperfect Messy Hairstyles for All Lengths

16 Oct 2016 Posted by trubridal in Wedding Hair

Untamed tousled hairstyles always seem so irresistibly charming and effortless that you simply can’t turn down their overwhelming appeal. There’s something extremely sexy and free of any constraint in tousled ‘dos, whether it’s an updo style, boyish pixie with sticking out feathers or fun loose curls. A messy style looks great on any length and type of hair – short or long, straight or curly, thick and flexible or fine and wispy. With the right approach you can create so many gorgeous and versatile looks with messy hair. Let some of them be stylish and extravagant, while others can remain on a more romantic side. Here are 40 ideas of envy-worthy hairstyles with messed up locks for short, medium-length and long hair.

How to Create Messy Locks?

“Maybe they simply stopped combing their hair?”, someone may think, contemplating some of the trendiest messy ‘dos at the biggest fashion shows. Well, messy hair often looks like an absolutely natural style but we know that certain manipulations do stand behind these perfectly imperfect looks. Normally for medium-length and long hair they include the following.

  1. Blow-drying and running your fingers through hair without combing.
  2. Upside down blowdrying or blowdrying in the opposite direction to the hair growth for added volume and layer enhancement.
  3. Haphazard curling for some locks with a flat iron.
  4. Applying texturizing/thickening spray or curl enhancing product all through the locks and squeezing them in your palms with optional light teasing at the roots to boost volume.
  5. A few final minutes of blowdry to fix the effect and a bit of hair spray as the last touch for the extra hold.

Best Messy Hairstyles

If your hair is short, a cute chaos can be easily organized with some wax or light pomade. Apply the product to wet hair and blow dry, pulling separate sections in different directions. Add a little bit more wax to the ends for a more distinct look.

Besides loose messy curls and chaotic straight tresses for longer hair you can experiment with a whole bunch of messy updos and downdos, including messy buns, knots, fishtails, half up and half down messy ‘dos, French twists and others. Here are some cute ideas to embrace.

#1: Short and Layered

messy shaggy tousled bob

SOURCE

Of course, short messy hairstyles are lovely too. Many of today’s layered cuts are actually shaped to look messy – that’s how popular this laid back trend has become. For women, layered hair that is shoulder length will look feminine without being a huge maintenance hassle.

#2: Formal Messy Hair

high messy updo

Source

While many messy styles are designed for casual wear, there are also some formal styles for women that will look gorgeous on your prom or wedding day pictures. Messy buns can be further formalized with the addition of a hair embellishment or flowers.

#3: Youthful Updo

low messy updo with fishtail

Source

A quick and easy updo that is often seen on young women is a side chignon with plenty of strands flying free around. If your hair is highlighted, this wrapped, pulled back style will really bring out all its beautiful colors.

#4: Messy French Twist for Ombre Hair

french twist for tousled hair

Source

As traditional as formal affairs themselves, this classic chignon is a glamorous favorite updated as a messy updo. Whether you choose to French twist your hair or simply finger comb and secure with a clip, this hairstyle will work for all long haired girls.

#5: Triple Knot

three buns updo

Source

Keep hair looking beautiful with a sexy updo that really can be qualified as a lazy hairstyle. It might look intricate, but really the beauty of this triple knotted updo is found in the fact it doesn’t stretch for perfection. Some hairs remain out of place while others are a bit askew. Nonetheless, the end result is stunning.

#6: Messy Hair with a Side Braid

Side Braid Messy Blonde Updo

Source

If you’re in a rush and need an easy ‘do that will get you out the door in less than 10 minutes while still looking fabulous, try a hairstyle that rocks a feminine front braid. Simply plait the front of the hair and pull the rest of the hair into a side bun.

#7: Cute, Knotted and Messy

Loose Low Messy Bun

Source

Messy buns are a staple in every girl’s hair portfolio, and with good reason. Try a mussed low chignon, that’s extra carefree, by letting some strands of hair go loose.

#8: Criss-Crossed Messy Hair

Messy Updo For Summer

Source

Take your updo game up a knotch by overlapping that textured, messy hair into a fabulous formal shape. This hair style takes any look to the next level seamlessly. The updo is perfect for shoulder-length hair which can be hard to style at times.

#9: Twisted, Wavy and Messy

Wavy Half Updo

Source

Get romantic by rocking a half-updo with twists and turns that are intricate and lovely. Make sure your hair is curled into beach waves before twisting two sections from opposite sides of the head and joining them in the back.

#10: Messy Blue and Purple Plait

Purple And Blue Balayage For Brown Hair

Source

Show off that gorgeous mermaid-like hair color by flipping it into multiple topsy-tails that are full and tousled. Your hair will look voluminous and vibrant.

#11: Messy Mohawk Look

Double Mohawk Braid For Long Hair

Source

The cool, faux-hawk look is very in right now, but that doesn’t mean you have to run to the stylist to have your hair shaved down the sides. Try one of many plaited messy hairstyles. This time try a Dutch braid down the middle and a small fishtail right next to it to give your ‘do some edge.

#12: Tousled, Messy Hair

Mid-Length Side-Parted Layered Hairstyle

Curly locks don’t have to be perfect. In fact, waves are at their best when they’re slightly undone and textured — especially when you`re messing them up for medium hair. You can achieve this by curling your hair with a large curling wand! Just flip your curled hair upside down and then style as needed.

#13: Cotton Candy Messy Braids

Two Messy Braids For Short Hair

Source

If you just got your hair colored with magical shades like pink or blue, you have to show them off right! There’s no better way to showcase your pastel locks than braids. Try two messy pigtail plaits on for size.

#14: Braided Messy Pony

Messy Braided Hairstyle

Source

Of all the cute messy hairstyles, this one may be the coolest, as it’s braided from start to finish … literally! Just French braid the back of the head (starting at the nape), until you hit the crown, then throw the style into a high pony. Braid the pony into a fishtail and secure with an elastic band. Tug at the pony braid to make it fuller and messier.

#15: Long and Messy Half Bun

Can’t do a thing with your hair? Try styling it into a low pony … with a twist. When wrapping the elastic around your hair, stop the hair from going all the way through on the third time around. Then, pull a piece of hair out and wrap it around the base of the pony. This look is especially chic on straight hair.

#19: Plaited and Bunned Messy Hair

#23: Chin-Length Messy Bob

Side-Parted Messy Bob

Nothing is hotter than short messy hairstyles! Take a page from your favorite celebs and try a messy, cute, chin-length bob. Simply curl your hair with a straightener, leaving the ends untouched, then fluff up the hair and break up the curls with your fingers.

#24: Double-Braided Messy Hair

Messy Side Bubble Braid

If two heads are better than one, imagine what two braids can do! Try a beautiful bohemian look by braiding the top front section of your hair, wrapping it around to the back of the head, and securing it to the hair. Then, create a side bubble braid with fishtail inserts. Pull at the plait to make it messier and fuller.

#25: Messy Low Chignon

A low, undone side bun is messy hair at its finest. This look is about as classic as they come and looks amazing with everything from a formal gown to a sleek pant suit.

#26: Side Fishtail

Messy hairstyles are fun to wear, and best of all, they don’t take a huge amount of effort. This laid back fishtail braid is made more beautiful by being faded out of a top twist and styled to the side.

#27: Braids and Twists Combined

messy side pony with braids and twists

Source

The epitome of cute and messy styles comes in the form of combined hair elements. For this look, a French braid is paired with twists and a messy low pony. One total fashion perk for women with long hair? Being able to dress hair up in a bunch of different ways, but sometimes not having to settle on a single style at once.

#28: Long Haired Loveliness

You don’t need to try too hard to look beautiful if you already have long hair. This sexy hair look is the epitome of lazy hairstyles. Messy hair is made gorgeous simply by pulling the top layer into a half up bun. Messy buns are ever popular and work well in a variety of hair types.

#29: Curly and Messy Ponytail

When it comes to quick hair styling, go for styles that aren’t too difficult and bank them into your memory. While there are some days when you will need to dress up your tresses, too many of us forget about the beauty that comes from messy waves and sloppy straightness.

#30: Fauxhawk Ponytail

By adulthood, we’ve all conquered the ponytail. But when you need a messy ponytail that really takes the cake, check out this idea with its twists and volume. If you have long hair and are seeking a change, try this Mohawk-inspired style on for size.

#31: Simple and Tasteful

While it won’t work on all hair types, a brushed back messy bun for long hair really looks beautiful. Make a low loose knot leaving some extra strands from the top layer of your hair to cover its base. Bring those strands to the centre and pin in place to cover the elastic, securing your knot. Don’t worry if some strands break free – that’s the whole point of messy hair life.

#32: Formal Style

This low, formal updo hairstyle includes some choppy layers that frame the face. A hair embellishment like the pearl headband shown in the photo will bring a touch of glamour to hair that honestly doesn’t take a whole lot of effort.

#33: Imperfect Low Bun

#34: Spiky yet Feminine

This style can be worn as a long layered bob brushed back if you have shorter hair or as a low loose updo for long locks. Two toned hair looks amazing in this style, and so does the chunky fishtail, messily incorporated into the side.

#35: Thin Hair Beauty

cute messy braided updo

Fine, straight hair can often wage war against messy hairstyles. In fact, it often achieves a messy look naturally, but not in the styles you’ll like. If you have thin hair, try securing it in this French braid-inspired updo that still leaves room for flyaways down the back and sides.

#36: Shoulder Length Sass

medium layered red haircut

Source

Medium messy hairstyles sometimes don’t even involve any twist, braid or curl. Get a choppy layered cut and wear your hair “as it is” to achieve this lazy hairstyle that’s gorgeous and super simple.

#37: Fishtail Half Updo

Source

This half up half down style with a fishtail headband is suitable for all hair types. Not so great at fishtail braids? They can certainly be tricky, but fortunately for this hairdo, messy is welcome.

#38: Fauxhawk Knots

messy double knot updo

Source

A single knot might look a bit too casual and even banal these days, but two knots are a whole new story. Pull your shoulder length hair into two large knots at the back of the head for this easy updo that is inspired by the more formal top knot.

#39: Ponytail with a Twist

tousled ponytail for medium hair

Source

Messy hair is the right texture for a modern casual ponytail. This one is made a bit more grown up with a twisted piece held in place with a hairpin, effectively concealing the hair elastic. If your hair is highlighted or layered, then you can make it look even more fun.

#40: Super Simple Bun

messy bun updo

Source

With all of these fancy takes on messy style, it can be difficult to remember that this is a trend that shouldn’t require much effort. If you aren’t so into layers, twists, braids and hair accessories, simply pile your hair into a top knot and be on your way. Don’t stress if some hairs are out of place – in fact, that’s preferred. And you won’t even have to try to look amazing.

Getting every hair in its place can be pretty boring especially when you strive to avoid morning rush. Thanks God, nonchalant chic is not going to be out of fashion in the near future, so why not to incorporate a few of these great messy styles into your chic spring and summer looks?

40 Very Short Hairstyles That You Should Definitely Try

12 Mar 2016 Posted by trubridal in Wedding Hair

Maybe it was planned. Maybe it was just an impulse at the salon, where you just wanted to trim an inch or so, but ended with barely an inch of hair left. You feel liberated, or you are seized with panic. But whatever your state of mind, the eternal questions still remain. What do I do with my short hair? How do I style it? Is there anything that can be done with it? And the answer is yes, there is a lot you can do with it. If you possess too short hair, you can try out a wide variety of fun and interesting styles, that a girl with medium or long tresses can never get a chance to sport.

The best part about short hair is that it is a statement in itself. A dash of color, a little bit of styling – that is all it takes.

Here are 40 very short hairstyles for you to check out and look gorgeous everyday:

1. Boy Cut With Textured Layers:

Image: Getty

Image: Getty

The quintessential haircut for the tomboy in you! Cut uniformly short with choppy ends, the dark brown color saves you from a flat look, giving your hair dimension.

How To Style:

  1. Apply a light hold styling product to the hair.
  2. Finger comb the hair to avoid that deliberate look.

Is This For You?

This hair looks best on oval, heart and square-shaped faces.

2. Asymmetric Bob:

Image: Getty

Image: Getty

A smooth, rounded bob, the ends of the front bangs are razored to precision. This hairstyle works the best on those who have fine hair. If your hair is already straight, all you need is a spritz of hairspray, and you’re good to go.

How To Style:

  1. Use a shine serum and a medium hold styling product.
  2. Polish the hair using a straightener.
  3. Lightly tease a small section of the longer bangs.
  4. Spray for hold, and you’re done.

Is This For You?

This works for oval and heart-shaped faces, the sleekness of the style complementing their face structure.

3. Shiny Bowl Cut Hair With Wispy Ends And Fringes:

Image: Getty

Image: Getty

Here is a typical bowl-cut hair in which the top section is volumized, tangled and then set with the help of a hair spray. The wispy ends and uneven fringes are two other unique points of this hairstyle. This hairstyle works best with thicker, more voluminous hair that has been straightened.

How To Style?

  1. Apply a volumizing product to damp hair and spray with a heat protectant.
  2. Straighten the hair using a ceramic or titanium-plated straightener.
  3. Brush the hair forward to create a choppy, voluminous look.
  4. Spray and set.

Is This For You?

The voluminous top makes this ideal for all face shapes and absolutely anyone can pull this off.

4. Rolled Back Wavy Bob With Texture:

 Image: Getty

Short hair does not always have to be straight and sleek. If you have wavy hair, there is no reason to not play with the natural texture of your hair.

How To Style:

  1. Apply mousse to the roots to boost the volume.
  2. Brush back the hair, scrunching up the front part a little.
  3. Set with a hairspray.

Is This For You?

This hairstyle works best for oval faces, although other face shapes can pull this versatile style off as well.

5. Casual Rolled Back Waves With Messy Wispy Ends:

Image: Getty

Image: Getty

When it comes to looking casual, this feathery bob can be a good try. This deliberately disheveled, messy look makes it a great choice when you don’t want to try too hard to look amazing.

How To Style:

  1. Apply a volumizing mousse to damp hair.
  2. Keep scrunching the hair as it dries.
  3. Tease the dried hair to add more volume, and roll back roughly to give a messy, haphazard look.
  4. Set it with a hairspray to make it last.

Is It For You?

This is, once again, a very versatile look that can be pulled off by anyone.

6. Long Pixie:

Here is a super smart, highly professional look that every corporate woman can opt for. Just get your short, layered hair razored, part it to one side and add texture to it.

How To Style:

  1. Apply a hair product to damp hair.
  2. Using a small, thin plated straightener, straighten small sections of the hair at a time.
  3. Set with a hairspray, and you’re ready to rock and roll.

Is This For You?

This is a rather bold cut, best suited for longer faces.

7. Messy Pixie With Sharp Layered Side-Sweep:

Nowadays, the pixie has become synonymous with style. Check out this blonde pixie with a tangled finish and a deep, graduated side sweep with sharp ends. Quite fashionable and edgy!

How To Style:

  1. Apply a heat protectant product to the hair.
  2. Straighten off sections and brush it out.
  3. Finger comb your hair to the front to get that slightly tousled look.
  4. Set with a hairspray.

Is It For You?

It is a style best suited for those with an oval, heart-shaped or square face.

8. Double-Parted Hair With High Textured Top:

Spiky hair is no longer the domain of punk rockers. To pull this look off, you need the sides to be really short, with more length on the top. This hairstyle is ideal for adding height to your face. Part your short bob on both sides and volumize the middle section to a great extent.

How To Style:

  1. Apply a strong hold styling product to the hair.
  2. Grab sections of the hair and pull them up. Hold for a few seconds to get this messy, spiky look.

Is This For You?

This one works for diamond-shaped faces, showing off their amazing cheekbones.

9. Textured And Middle-Parted Wavy Bob With Wispy Points:

Image: Getty

Image: Getty

If you have a wavy, bob cut hair, do try this style for a cool and casual look. The textured and shiny finish does not retract from the relaxed vibe it gives out.

How To Style:

  1. Apply a volumizing product to damp hair.
  2. Part and scrunch up your hair as it dries.
  3. Brush back one section and set with a hairspray.

Is This For You?

This is a hairstyle that can be sported by just about everybody. But, for those with naturally wavy hair, it is effortlessly classy.

10. Rounded Natural Blonde Bob With Deep Layered Side Sweep:

Image: Getty

Image: Getty

In this sleek bob, the crown is volumized a bit, while the entire hair is smooth and shiny. The rounded shape and the sleek, graduated, side-swept bang are two other specialties of this hairstyle.

How To Style:

  1. Apply a serum to boost the shine.
  2. Use a straightener to give your hair a more polished look.
  3. Create deep side bangs by brushing the hair forward.
  4. Set with a hairspray.

Is This For You?

This is for those who have fine, straight hair and an oval or heart-shaped face.

11. Side-Parted Bob With Highly Textured Waves:

Now, here is something very sweet and adorable. It is a nice, black bob with the wavy hair parted to one side. The hair has been cut against the curls, giving it a choppy, textured look. This hairstyle is extremely versatile, and works across all age groups.
